Lucas Salazar, 26, was arrested 2:30 a.m. Sunday after officers observed him driving over the double yellow line on Ridgefield Road and then failed to stop at the stop sign on Center Street, said Wilton Police.
Once stopped, officers could detect an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle and the operator, police said.
Salazar was administered a field sobriety test which he failed, they added.
During the stop, officers also uncovered 3.1 grams of marijuana and two glass smoking bowls behind the driver's seat.
Salazar was charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive in proper lane, failure to obey stop sign, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of pot.
He was released on $260 bond. with a court date set for June 19.
